It is an Austenite system with low stability that it is easy for organic Martensite to generate because the lower contents of Cr and Ni than sus 304. Its tensile strength and hardness become high by cold machining. It has non-magnetic under the condition of annealing but it has magnetism after cold machining. |

17Cr-7Ni-0.1N-Low C |
It is a steel type which improves the stress corrosion resistance on the weld zone of high strength sus 301. It prevents hardness degradation by decrease of C by adding N. |

18Cr-8Ni |
It is the most widely used steel with good mechanical properties which has excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance due to Ni component and low-temperature strength. It is not hardened by heat treatment and non-magnetic. |

It has a similar level of corrosion resistance compared to sus 304 due to low C content, but for heat effect after welding, it has corrosion resistance without heat treatment because it has outstanding resistance against intergranular corrosion. |
The application with vulnerable intergranular corrosion of sus 304 or the application that is difficult for heat treatment such as Chemical industry, Coal industry, Petroleum industry, etc. |
316 |
18Cr-12Ni -2.5Mo |
It is steel adding about 2~3% Mo in order to improve pitting corrosion resistance against seawater and salinity, has excellent creep strength at high temperature and is non-magnetic. |

It is steel manufactured by deducting C content from sus 316 and adding intergranular corrosion resistance to the properties of sus 316. |
It is difficult to apply heat treatment after welding. |

18Cr-8Ni-Ti |
Its intergranular corrosion is prevented by adding Ti to 304, which is suitable for section (zone) that intergranular corrosion is sensitive under 450~900℃. |
