• Features of stainless steel
- Beautiful surface.
- With its excellent corrosion resistance it can be used in
  variety of purposes with its own surface without having
  to paint or doing the surface treatment.
- Chrome is included as one of the major ingredients.
  A very thin layer of chromic oxide, which is the passive
  state film is formed and this blocks air from
  penetrating into the metal.
  This is why stainless steel has an excellent corrosion
  resistance.

Type	Composition	Properties and Features	Major Applications
301	17Cr-7Ni	It is an Austenite system with low stability that it is easy for organic Martensite to generate because the lower contents of Cr and Ni than sus 304. Its tensile strength and hardness become high by cold machining. It has non-magnetic under the condition of annealing but it has magnetism after cold machining. 301L	17Cr-7Ni-0.1N-Low C	It is a steel type which improves the stress corrosion resistance on the weld zone of high strength sus 301. It prevents hardness degradation by decrease of C by adding N.	Frame and Exterior materials of Railroad cars
304	18Cr-8Ni	It is the most widely used steel with good mechanical properties which has excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance due to Ni component and low-temperature strength. It is not hardened by heat treatment and non-magnetic.	Table wares and kitchen utensil, Pipes, Water heater, Boiler, Bathtub, Muffler, Interior / exterior materials of building construction
304L	18Cr-9Ni -Low C	It has a similar level of corrosion resistance compared to sus 304 due to low C content, but for heat effect after welding, it has corrosion resistance without heat treatment because it has outstanding resistance against intergranular corrosion.	The application with vulnerable intergranular corrosion of sus 304 or the application that is difficult for heat treatment such as Chemical industry, Coal industry, Petroleum industry, etc.
316	18Cr-12Ni -2.5Mo	It is steel adding about 2~3% Mo in order to improve pitting corrosion resistance against seawater and salinity, has excellent creep strength at high temperature and is non-magnetic.	Construction sites near shore such as Papers, Chemicals, Synthetic resins, fertilizers, Photographic industry, food industry, etc.
316L	18Cr-12Ni -2.5Mo-Low C	It is steel manufactured by deducting C content from sus 316 and adding intergranular corrosion resistance to the properties of sus 316.	It is difficult to apply heat treatment after welding.
321	18Cr-8Ni-Ti	Its intergranular corrosion is prevented by adding Ti to 304, which is suitable for section (zone) that intergranular corrosion is sensitive under 450~900℃.	Aircraft pipes, Boiler covers
